Each of the paintings has its own secret, it has energy, strength, it can caress, make you smile or make you think.

Each of the paintings will find its “owner”, or better said, each of the paintings will find the one for whom only HE will be the right guide…

About The Authors

Helena Burša Petřinová

WHISPERS OF THE INVISIBLE

“Already as a little girl, I breathed in the call of the scent of colours… like a safe conduct into the worlds of obsession. Suddenly, the colours shone again precisely where I had just forgotten them.

The ocean of associations demanded to speak… tiny elves danced, free and unrestrained, in the dreamlike Higgs field. Released from forced ties and imposed knots… so distant and yet within reach.

One of these elves, Master Monsieur Kleindienst of the famous Prague school, accompanied me on my path to freedom within his studio for eight years.

My artistic journey then asserted itself on the international scene: I exhibited my works in Berlin Mitte as well as in Venice, at the prestigious Palazzo Pisani Revedin. In 2024, I coordinated the exhibition Little Treasuresin Bologna for my husband Milan, in close collaboration with curator Paola Trevisan (Trevisan International Art), while also presenting my work four times at the Kapuzinerstadl in Deggendorf.

My artistic path was further affirmed through more than thirty exhibitions and my repeated participations in the Open Art Fest in Prague. My work was consolidated by a prestigious presence in the art book published by Original Gallery (formerly Online Gallery). This volume, printed on luxury paper in 2022, constitutes an exclusive anthology bringing together 58 selected authors. This edition, limited to only 999 copies, highlights the rarity and artistic value of the works presented.

Based on the website I share with my husband, I was approached by several international curators, which opened new dialogues and opportunities for me.

And suddenly, I saw omnipresent points, a flash bursting forth… like a nocturnal oasis in the desert of thoughts. For painting is not representing the world — it is offering it an emergency exit. Welcome to the interval.”

MANIFESTO OF LIGHT AND TIME

“My painting is the place where matter confronts the infinite. My path came to rest there, among the hawthorns… on that trail leading from Chronos to Kairos, at the level of the fourth lemma. It is within this sacred verticality that my visions take form, where colour ceases to be a pigment and becomes a breath — an absolute freedom finally within reach.

I shaped my eye and my technique over seven years in the atelier of Master Halm, a fundamental period of apprenticeship that structured my aesthetic quest. My artistic journey then took root through more than thirty exhibitions in the Czech Republic, including repeated participations in Prague’s Open Art Fest. My work was further anchored by a prestigious inclusion in the 2022 art book published by Original Gallery, an exclusive anthology containing 58 selected authors, printed on luxury paper in a limited edition of 999 copies.

Based on the website I share with my wife, I was approached by several international curators, which opened new dialogues and opportunities for me.

My international presence strengthened in 2024 through major exhibitions in Bologna under the aegis of Paola Trevisan, and in Venice, within the prestigious Palazzo Pisani Revedin. These milestones, complemented by four presentations at the Kapuzinerstadl in Deggendorf, bear witness to an unceasing quest for pure light.

Over the years, I have given words to the poetry of old Czech cinema for TV Arte, translating its finest masterpieces for French‑speaking audiences.

To paint is to offer the gaze an emergency exit, a moment of silence in the midst of the world’s turmoil. Welcome to the suspended moment.”
